The view from the Jardin de l’Enfant

Looking up into the Salle Clarac. Above, in the sky, are the broken skylights on the roof. Below that, the broken edge of the floor of Room 63, Salle Chassériau. The ceiling of the Salle Clarac is scorched from the fire. Between the windows, a stone relief sculpture is broken into two pieces. The glass doors of the display case is shattered and the pieces lie on the floor. The rubble at the bottom is full of chunks and pieces of the ceiling and the parquet floor.
